My Beauty Wishlist

As it is turning October on Wednesday the hectic Christmas shopping month of November is drawing nearer, when I end up with no money to treat myself. I have put together this wishlist of items I would love to treat myself to before Christmas kicks in, or otherwise I'll be asking Santa Claus! This list might give you some ideas on how to treat yourself this month...

The new majorette blusher by Benefit. I would love to try this blusher as the lovely peachy colour is beautiful and it can be used just as flush emphasizer or a lovely extra pep underneath your favourite blusher.

Next on my list is the new bareMinerals bareSkin pure serum foundation. I've heard its meant to be the future of foundation, giving even-looking skin with an SPF20.

The Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar in its super cute packaging is firmly on my list. After watching Zoe's vlogs and blog posts I am greatly persuaded to give this ago. The smell is said to be fresh and I'm a sucker for fizzy baths!

The next item on my list is more of an experiment, it's Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick, preferably in the shade Blushed. It's an experiment for me as I'm not really a lipstick-y person as I love lipglosses instead, although I would really like to start using more lipcolour. Many people have recommend to me Revlon's collection.

This is a skincare item that I would love, the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I would love to try this cleanser as it is said to be great for people with spot-prone skin, benefits of being a teenager! This product is said to leave your skin feeling clean and fresh!

Another skincare product on my list is LUSH's Brazened Honey fresh face mask! I love face masks and I try to make my own homemade ones, but lets just say they don't always turn out that great! This little tub should be great for my spot-prone skin also!

I recently purchased the NARS base coat and I was really pleased with the application and consistency, so my next item is the NARS Nail Polish in arabesque. The colour looks incredibly pretty and sparkly, which reminds me of a glass of champagne! Ooh la la!

My last item on this wishlist is a fragrance, Calvin Klein's Reveal. I was looking through the perfume store and stumbled across this gorgeous smelling fragrance, obviously I sprayed it all over me! The smell was warm with Calvin Klein's sensual sandalwood identity as the base.

What's on your wishlist?

Nail Varnish Haul

I have recently gone through my nail varnish box and decided to pick out a few of my favourites to show you all!

The first is my Nars Base Coat. It is very easy to apply as the brush is quite rounded and smooth and the thickness and shine is amazing!

The second item is my Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Tutti Frutti. The colour is so gorgeous and I absolutely adored this over summer. The consistency is perfect and it leaves a glossy shine.

Next is my Paul & Joe Nail Polish in the colour 20. I have fallen in love with the look of Paul and Joe's products and this nail varnish bottle is so adorable. The shade of pink is slightly darker than usual pink shades and I think it looks very elegant.

Another elegant nail varnish of mine is the Estee Lauder Pure Color Varnish but in Negligee. The matte finish is very chic and neutral.

My next nail polish is the Max Factor Gel Shine Lacquer in Glazed Cobalt. This colour is fun and bright, and the gel texture means it is very long lasting!

Another vibrant colour I own is my Rimmel Rita Ora 60 Seconds Varnish. It's fast drying, long lasting and is made into funky, quirky colours!

My last item in this haul is my Revlon Nail Art Sun Candy. A perfect duo to create glittery, girly nails easily!

Beauty High Street Interview

A few months ago I stumbled across a blog called Beauty High Street, and I loved it! I decided to get in touch with the blogger Sophie-Laura and ask her whether she could answer my beauty interview questions, and she agreed!

1. Why did you start blogging?
I am studying Multimedia Journalism at university and they recommend that you start a blog. I started a blog about beauty because I found many other blogs inspired me. I did originally do fashion but I wasn't as interested in that as I was beauty.

2. What does your makeup bag consist of?
Mainly high street brands such as Soap&Glory, L'Oreal and the Body Shop, but I also have a few higher end brands such as bareMinerals, when I want to treat myself.

3. What is your favourite beauty product at the moment?
For years it's been L'Oreal Mineral Foundation Powder, but that's been around for years so at the moment I am loving the The Body Shop Overnight Serum in an Oil.

4. What is your favourite beauty tip?
Ooooh, this is a hard one! There are loads, but the beauty tip I probably use the most is not touching your hair with your hands when using heat products, such as straighteners. Always use a brush, as by touching the hair with your hands gets rid of the heat in your hair meaning the straightness of your hair won't last.

5. What outfit are you wearing at the moment?
My work uniform..haha. However I did buy some gorgeous high waisted black trousers and a lovely green top from New Look yesterday!

6. What was the last beauty product you bought?
Soap&Glory Heel Genius. I just can't get enough of this product! I work at a bar meaning I am constantly on my feet and my shoes get filled with alcohol. Heel Genius helps to keep my feet looking and feeling gorgeous!

7. What are the items on your beauty wish list?

8. What would your essential makeup product be?
It would have to be mascara! Even if I have no makeup on I have to have mascara on. I recently bought Benefit they're real! mascara and it's ridiculously good! As a mascara lover I can't believe I haven't tried this before.

9. How would you like to experiment more with your makeup?
Through lipstick. I'm not a very lipstick-y person but I would like to give more colours a go, just to see what I have been missing out on.

10. What would your dream job be for the future?
I would love to write features for a glossy magazine, such as Cosmopolitan or Glamour! I am really interested in other people's lives and glossy magazines are like my bible!

11. What do you most enjoy about blogging?
Having my own space on the internet where I can be proud of and write things that I enjoy writing about!

12. How do you take a selfie?
With a massive smile!

I'd like to thank Sophie-Laura for taking the time to complete my interview and by giving such amazing answers! A link to her blog is down below...

Benefits of Chewing Sugar-free Gum

I love chewing gum! My favourite flavour is mint due to the fresh feeling in your mouth as you chew. Not only does chewing gum taste amazing but it has many benefits too, as long as it's sugar-free...

 Improves Oral Health
Sugar-free gum is advised on TV many times emphasizing the oral health of the product, does 'Eat.Drink.Chew' ring a bell? Sugar-free chewing gum is known to increase saliva, help flush out bits of food debris and sugar, whiten teeth and freshen breath.

Be More Alert
Chewing sugar-free gum has said to reduce sleepiness. Chewing gum helps to keep you alert and awake.

Good Digestion
Chewing gum increases saliva meaning there is a more frequent swallowing flow.

Help to Manage Weight
Gum is a low calorie, inexpensive snack, a great swap from high calorie snacks. Also, it is said that chewing gum can burn 11 calories per hour.

Improves Memory
The activity in the area of our brain that is dedicated to memory increases while people chew. Chewing gum also increases blood flow to the brain, produces more oxygen and glucose, and disposes of more CO2; consequently improving memory.

Reduces Stress
The rhythmic motion of chewing can cause a soothing relaxation and reduce stress. It can also act as an outlet for fustration.

Burns Facial Fat
The activity of chewing gum can reduce a double chin and fat cheeks.

Top Ten Rides at Disneyland Paris

Over this summer I went on a day trip to Disneyland Paris and it was absolutely magical! There is a lot to see so I would recommend going for at least a two day trip in the future, especially if it is your first time going to the parks. This was my fifth time visiting a Disney resort and it was still spectacular! I had access to the Disney Village, Walt Disney Studios and Disneyland Park. I decided I wanted to do a post on my trip so I decided to do a top ten rides. The only problem was I couldn't decide which ride was my favourite so here are my top ten rides in no particular order:

Hollywood Tower of Terror
Production Courtyard, Walt Disney Studios

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith
Backlot, Walt Disney Studios

Crush's Coaster
Toon Studio, Walt Disney Studios

Big Thunder Mountain
Frontierland, Disneyland Park

RC Racer
Toy Stroy Playland, Walt Disney Studios

Space Mountain: Mission 2

''its's a small world''
Fantasyland, Disneyland Park
