Do you suffer from damaged hair? Do you have split ends? Here are a few ways to repair, rescue and moisturise your hair, think of it as hair rehab!
Have a trim
What a great excuse to book an appointment at the hairdressers!

Stop using heat
Heat used in products like straighteners, curling wands and hair dryers can damage your hair, so try to embrace your natural hair, or use items such as rollers to curl your hair.

Stop dying your hair
Dying or bleaching your hair can cause it to break or fall out.

Deep conditioning
This restores moisture to the hair. You can use oils or masks.

Use a swimming cap
It may make you look like you've got a pea as a head, but it protects your hair from the chlorine in the pool.

I recently bought this Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Face Wash as I ran out of my Witch Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash. I have heard lots mixed opinions on Simple as a brand, so I thought I'd give them ago for myself. The banner across the top of the product stating 'UK's No.1 - with multi-vitamins', enticed me to make a purchase. The product is very easy to use, which is brilliant when washing your face on them early or lazy mornings! The pearly colour of the liquid is very appealing and fresh looking. When foaming upon your face, there aren't too many bubbles, which I like. Once rinsed off with water, your skin is left feeling fresh and clean as no residue is left behind.
The product contains no perfume, colour or harsh chemicals which gives the product it's 'Kind To Skin' name. The face wash also claims to contain pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E, which is a lovely bonus!
Overall this is a great buy for a drugstore face wash, at the cheap price of £3.75.

I have naturally straight hair, but many of my friends explain to me the struggle of trying to keep your hair straight all day, especially those blustery days! Below are some ways to keep your hair looking straight and sleek for a good 24 hours...

Purchase products which state they contain properties that encourage straight hair.
Take time to comb the conditioner through your hair to get rid of those pesky tangles.
Avoid rubbing your hair with your towel, instead pat your hair dry to prevent frizz.
Use a mousse, gel, oil or anti-frizz product on your hair.
Apply a mixture of coconut milk and lemon juice to your hair as a mask, then wash normally.
Point your hair dryer downwards away from your roots when blow drying.
Set your hair dryer on the lowest setting to prevent frizz.
Apply hairspray or a post-straightening product to keep the hair in place.

Good luck!

Last Saturday, my family and I went to Fleet Street, London, to watch the traditional Lord Mayor's Show. The 85 minute event originates back at about 800 years ago. Today we see the City's businesses, Livery Companies, charities, Her Majesty's Forces, the city Police and Londoners from all walks of life come together to enjoy a spectacular celebration of London's past, present and future! I must say after watching the parade prowl down Fleet Street, I felt very proud to be British!
