Winter Wonderland 2015 | London

To get into the festive spirit, earlier on this week my friends and I headed up to the most festive place in London; Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. After having our last day at Sixth Form, before Christmas, we headed straight up to central London to experience Winter Wonderland and to also celebrate my friend's birthday! I had been to Winter Wonderland several times before so I knew what to expect, although this year it was meant to be bigger and better.

We arrived at around 4 o clock and it wasn't too busy, we took a stroll, taking in the surroundings, and took loads of pictures. It wasn't long until we noticed that all the rides were very expensive [£7-£9 a ride] so the stingy students we are, we decided to choose one ride that we would all go on. The decided vote chose the swinging chairs that we sky high, as the ride seemed fun and the view would be amazing! The ride was brilliant and the view was breath-taking, but I was also nearly taken away by the wind as it kept rocking my chair in all types of directions; I laughed the whole duration of the ride.

Originally, I thought that the food at Winter Wonderland would be too expensive and therefore I wouldn't eat it and wait until I got out of the park, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the food on offer. I had some chicken goujons and fries from the food market area, the food tasted lovely and had only a cost price of £7. Not too bad! It was also great to sit down and listen to live music too.

We continued to wander around the park, through the markets and past rides and attractions. Wearily, we decided to stop at the carousel bar - a bar actually upon a moving carousel! - and had a sit down and a hot chocolate. It was as soon as we sat down that we realised there wasn't much left to do as everything at Winter Wonderland costs money [and quite a bit], so after taking some final photos we headed home.

I would say my experience at Winter Wonderland was very festive and fun, but not as good as I had expected. I would say in order to make the most or have the most fun at Winter Wonderland, you should be willing to pay out the money for things such as rides, attractions and ice skating. I will probably return again next year, but just to soak up the atmosphere.
I hope you are having a lovely Christmas Eve!

Elf The Musical | London

'The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!' - Buddy the Elf

I was lucky enough to spend a wonderful evening with my family when I went to see the very festive Elf the Musical; the first performance in the UK! Elf is one of my favourite Christmas films, and seeing it come alive on stage was amazing! The comedic factor was very much at the heart of the musical, and the acting by Ben Forster, Kimberly Walsh and the rest of the cast was brilliant! The film, Elf, has no original songs in it, so I was excited to hear how they would make it in to a musical, and the soundtracks were brilliant.

The settings, props and backdrops were spectacular, especially the moment near the end when Santa's sleigh appears! The overall experience was incredible and left me feeling so Christmassy! Even though it is very expensive, I would certainly recommend the show to any who loves Christmas!

Last weekend I took a trip up to Oxford Street, London, where I popped into the beautifully, large LUSH store. It is amazing! When surrounded with such wonderful products it's hard not to be tempted into buying the whole store. Instead I settled on buying a few items, oh and I also picked up a few testers - I love a good freebie!

| Golden Handshake Hot Hand Mask |
Such a gorgeous product for your precious hands. This hot hand mask smells amazingly sweet and dreamy, and it can be used two ways. You can either fill a bowl with warm water and swirl the Golden Handshake in the bowl to create a milky solution, which you can soak your hands in, or you can massage you hands with the product, and then rinse.

| You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt |
This bath melt smells incredible! I love the LUSH bath melts because they make my skin feel so soft and pampered. This is a punchy bath melt that has a beautiful tropical fragrance. You've Been Mangoed is super refreshing and hydrating for your skin.

| Mmmelting Marshmellow Moment Bath Melt |
Another gorgeous bath melt that has such a sweet aroma. The smell of marshmellows and dolly mixtures fills my bathroom and transports me to a candy paradise! The bath melt is very moisturising and perfect for delicate skin.

| From Dusk Til Dawn Massage Bar |
Ooooh who doesn't like a massage? Even better, who doesn't like a massage with a gorgeous smelling massage bar? The Dusk til Dawn massage bar is such a lovely product with a sensual aroma. The oils gently soak into the skin, you feel relaxed and moisturised.

| Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask |
This calming fresh face mask is highly moisturising, and helps to protect and soften the skin. It contains blueberries, chamomile, rose and almond oils.

| Don't Look At Me Fresh Face Mask |
This punchy, bright blue face mask is perfect for evening out your skin's complexion as it contains zingy lemon juice.

| Dark Angel Cleanser |
This black sugar and charcoal cleanser gently absorbs oils and exfoliates, meaning it is a great cleanser for acne-prone skin. Some anti-acne products can be a bit harsh, but this cleanser is also great to target redness and irritation.

| Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask |
This beautiful floral fragranced face mask aims to soothe and mattify your skin.

| Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser |
This beautiful face cleanser is very gentle. It contains lavender and kaolin to absorb grease and dirt, leaving your skin feeling clean and smelling beautiful!

| Wash You Were Here Wash Sheet |
A new way to freshen up in the morning! Simply tear off a piece from the wash sheet, and start to rub against your body to create a lather!

My Weekly Love | LUSH Feeling Younger

During summer I decided to pop into LUSH to have a little look around, and this little pot drew my attention from the makeup area. This little pot contains a beautiful skin tint that brightens your face making you look younger, or for me to make my skin look more alive and healthy.

To use this skin tint, you add it to your face moisturiser and use your moisturiser as you would across your face. It reflects light which brightens your face and gives you a gorgeous glow. It can also be used in your eye cream to brighten your dark circles too. As an added bonus, I also like to use it as a cheek highlighter!

It's a little pot that packs a punch!

Seal Watching | Ramsgate

Wow, what a wet and windy ride!
Last week I spent a lovely 7 days with my family in Whitstable, at my family caravan. We had an amazing time doing so many different activities, but one of my favourite activities was our speed boat trip, with RIB Request, to see the seals. On the morning of the boat trip I was so excited. I had been on a speed boat twice before and loved it, but this time I was going to see some seals! We decided to book with RIB Request as their boat trips looked fantastic. We set off down to Ramsgate, and arrived at the location exactly on time - 11am. After we met our boat driver, Stuart, we were equipped with our life jackets, and were given the health and safety talk. Walking down to the boat, my excitement grew as I saw ahead the Arctic Storm; our speed boat. The Arctic Storm was used previously in the military.
After taking a seat at the front of the boat, the motor kicked in and we were off. The wind rushed through my hair, and the salty air battered my cheeks. I couldn't believe the speed we were reaching as we rode across the waves, and it wasn't long until we spotted two seals playing in the sea. We began to slow down and drove round a bend, when our eyes lit up with excitement as we saw on the banks about 30 seals lying in the sun.

The seals were adorable and were so funny to watch. They rolled around on the stomachs and were scratching their tummies and noses. We spotted a small pup too, who was fast asleep next to its mother. We couldn't go to close to disturb them but we enjoyed watching them on the banks, and frolicking in the water.
Stuart taught us about the different types of seals present on the banks, and how they live and adapt to their habitat.

After saying goodbye to the seals, we took the whirlwind ride back to the harbour. This time we took a few more twists and turns, which were so much fun, and as I was on the side at the front, I got very wet. My hair afterwards was a disaster, but the trip gave me such an adrenaline rush.
I would recommend the RIB Request trips in Ramsgate, but next time I would have liked a bit more time out on the water, and a few more big twists and turns.

That night the sunset was beautiful...
