The Christmas Tag | 2015

Merry Christmas!

I hope you are having an amazing day with your family and friends, or however you love to spend it, and wherever! Christmastime is my favourite time of year and for one day everyone gets together to exchange gifts, play games, eat good food and enjoy each others company! As it is Christmas I believe it is fitting to do the Christmas tag, so here we go...

What is your favourite Christmas film?
I love Christmas movies! Watching a great Christmas film always puts me in a festive mood. My top 5 are...
The Holiday
Love Actually
Elf
Christmas with the Kranks
and my all time favourite Christmas film is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! It is hilarious!

Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Yes! When I was little I had quite a few and I remember sledging and making snowmen, and like Bing Crosby 'I'm dreaming of a White Christmas' this year!

Where do you usually spend Christmas?
In London with my family [at home]

What is your favourite Christmas song?
Oh I do love a Christmas song! My favourite 5 are...
Run Run Rudolph - Chuck Berry
8 Days of Christmas - Destiny's Child
Mistletoe - Justin Beiber
Holiday Road - Lindsey Buckingham
and my top Christmas song is Fairytale of New York by The Pogues.

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Yes! It is a tradition in my family to open some new PJs on Christmas Eve, so we can wake up on Christmas Morning in lovely new pyjamas!

Can you name all of Santa's reindeers?
Yes...I think. Dasher, Dancer, Donner, Vixen, Prancer, Comet, Cupid, Blitzen and of course Rudolph!

Do you like to stay in your pyjamas or dress up on Christmas Day?
I love to stay in my comfy pyjamas whilst opening presents and having breakfast in the morning, but before Christmas dinner with my family I love to dress up for the occasion.

Have you ever built a gingerbread house?
Yes, this year actually, but it didn't turn out too great so I'd love to try again next year!

What's the weirdest gift you've received?
Last year I received men's aftershave

What Christmas traditions are you looking forward to this year?
Every year on Boxing Day I visit my Nana who lives at Cooden Beach. It is a tradition to throw pebbles into the sea, to hit the waves and see how far we can throw them. We have done it as a family for as long as I can remember. Sadly, earlier on this year I lost my Nana, but we are still hoping to keep the tradition strong.

What is your favourite Christmas scent?
I love the Christmas spices but also the smell of a Christmas tree!

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Real

What is your favourite Christmas treat?
I love all Christmas goodies except for Christmas pudding, but my favourites include fudge, yule log and my Nana's banana mince.

Are you a pro-present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I'd like to think of myself as quite a good wrapper. I think that how the present looks makes what is inside even better, and the presents look so pretty under the tree!

What makes the holidays special for you?
The atmosphere and spirit of people. I love the unity of family and friends as we gather over the few days to exchange gifts, have fun and laugh!

I hope you have a very lovely Christmas!
