Greece | Delphi

Χαίρετε!

Welcome to my Greek Diaries! I spent an amazing week in beautiful Greece with my friends. Greece is such a gorgeous country, and by taking a little road trip to lots of different locations I felt I experienced lots of different aspects of their culture and country. So over the next week and a half I will document each little day spent in Greece through a post which will go live at 7pm each evening!

Day Four

After the drive from Cape Sounion we arrived up in the mountains of Delphi. The coach took us through lots of little streets, but the coach couldn't pull up outside our hotel so we had to unload our suitcases, and walk down a little road until we finally arrived!

The Hotel Acropole was super cute and cosy, and I couldn't wait to see our room. I must admit that our room was rather cramped but it didn't matter because we had the most amazing view!! Our balcony gave us a spectacular view of the mountains and the town below - it was breath-taking!

The hotel didn't provide an evening meal so we booked a set menu dinner in a traditional Greek restaurant (Epikovros). This restaurant not only served delicious Greek dishes (it wasn't very good if you're vegetarian though), but the restaurant stuck out over the landscape and the glass windows surrounding us meant that it felt like we were in the mountains! When the sun set the views were so beautiful!

Once we had eaten our meal we spent the evening walking through the quaint streets, and chilling in a little bar with a balcony. We soon retired to our hotel, and I couldn't wait to wake up in the morning to our beautiful bedroom view.
