Coppa Club | The Lanes, Brighton

Autumn is here and what better way to bring in the new season than sipping cocktails and listening to music in a cozy private igloo.

You've probably seen numerous photos of these small igloos located along The Thames in London and across other various other locations in the UK. I was really excited to hear that Coppa Club had opened a restaurant in Brighton and it was my chance to finally try it out.

In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, we had our own private igloo for up to 6 people in a 2-hour slot from 8pm-10pm. The igloos are situated in the middle of The Lanes in Brighton Square with a fountain in the centre and lots of autumnal decorations.

Inside your igloo is your seating area and you are provided with a cute and cosy seasonal interior decorations including blankets as well as a heater and a speaker.

The menu doesn't have a large amount of choice on it but it mainly features all of your favourite classic uncomplicated dishes such as burgers, steaks, pizza, and fresh pasta.

Let's start with cocktails...

The Passionfruit & Elderflower Spritz was my cocktail choice and it was amazing. Just simply prosecco with passion fruit and elderflower liqueur but it was so fruity and refreshing.

For my starter, I had Crispy Fried Squid with sriracha mayo. For my main meal, I went for the British Flash Steak with chimichurri and truffle and pecorino fries on the side. All of our food was delicious and really filling.

The food and cocktails are more on the expensive side but I believe it is worth paying a little extra for the experience. Coppa Club is a lovely restaurant to visit for a special treat or occasion.

I would certainly go back to Coppa Club and would love to try their other locations in London!
